At the invitation of dean of University of South Florida Muma Business School Prof. Moez Limayem and the president as well as CEO of AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International)--- Mr. Tom Robinson, DUT deputy secretary of the Party committee and vice president Mr. SONG Dan paid a two-day visit to University of South Florida and the headquarter of AACSB. Dean of DUT Faculty of Management and Economics, Prof. SU Jingqin and other two representatives --- Prof. SONG Jinbo and Prof. SUN Yutao came alongside.
Dean Moez Limayem is a member of FME International Advisory Board (IAB) who is responsible for offering constructive suggestions for the development of FME. Mr. SONG, Prof. SU and Prof. Moez have a discussion on international brands and teaching teams construction. During the visit, Prof. Moez showed the measures Muma Business School had taken and achievements that have been obtained in aspects of brand-building, alumni donations, laboratory construction, scientific researches and so on. The two sides have reached initial cooperation intention on cooperative researches of teachers, joint doctoral programs, 1+1 degree programs for postgraduates, student exchange programs and Executive Education (EE) program. A memorandum of understanding will be signed soon.

Having obtained the AACSB accreditation in 2015 and will be re-accredited in 2020, dean SU Jingqin reported to president of AACSB Tom about the process made by FME after getting the accreditation and the measures and achievements of continuous improvement during the visit to the headquarters of AACSB. Moreover, Tom elaborated the changes of mission, vision and strategy of AACSB, as well as the main tasks and purposes of further development. In addition, the delegation also further explained the case study and teaching work of FME to relevant personnel of AACSB. AACSB expressed great interests in these fields and hoped to further promote the case teaching method to other AACSB accreditation members.

This visit was fruitful. Through communication with world-renowned universities and international organizations, FME have learned from world-class business schools, and promoted the brand of DUT FME to the outside, so as to enhance its international influence.
