Accreditations ＆ Ranking
School of Economics and Management, Dalian University of Technology (SEM, DUT) has always taken international and domestic accreditations and evaluation as an important means of the development and internationalization of the School. In February 2015, SEM has obtained the AACSB accreditation. In June 2016, the School has obtained the CAMEA accreditation, the most authoritative Chinese high-quality MBA education accreditation. And in March 2018, the School was awarded the EQUIS accreditation. At this point, SEM has become the only business school in northeast China that has been awarded the AACSB, EQUIS and CAMEA accreditation. Meanwhile, the school has always been adhering to the principle of “promoting the development of the discipline through internal and external accreditations and rankings”, and has been continuously improving and innovating in aspects of talent cultivation, scientific researches and social services. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) has obtained an A level (among the top 7 percent business school in China) in the 4th round of China University Professional-degree Rankings (CUPR) in 2017.
Having obtained the three accreditations, SEM will further promote and deepen the internationalization and other undertakings. At the same time, the school has taken this opportunity to accelerate the construction process of accelerating one of the world’s first-class disciplines and one of the high-level business schools, and to continuously explore, improve and strive to realize the vision of “becoming one of China’s first-class business schools with extensive international impact”.

Chinese Advanced Management Education Accreditation (CAMEA) dates back to the year of 2012. It is jointly organized by CDGDC and CNMESC, which is the first professional degree education accreditation in China. The accreditation work adheres to the basic concepts of high quality, steady progress, openness and international cooperation, aiming at continuously improving the quality of business administration education in China. |
EFMD is a global, non-profit, membership driven organization dedicated to management development. Recognized globally as an accreditation body for business schools, business school programs, and corporate universities. The headquarter is located in Brussels, Belgium. The scope of EQUIS covers all programs run by the business schools, which aims to improve the overall level of global management education. |
【Ranking】
On July 26th, 2018, Ministry of Education (MoE) announced the result of China University Professional-degree Rankings (CUPR). Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Dalian University of Technology (DUT) ranked an A Level in the ranking. The Ranking is professional degree level assessment organized and implemented by the Academic Degree and Graduate Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education (hereinafter referred to as Academic Degree Center). The process was implemented by a third party that was entrusted by the Education Steering Committee Office of the State Council.

In 2016, the program was conducted in 8 professional degree categories including degree programs of Law, Education, Clinical Medicine (excluding Traditional Chinese Medicine), Stomatology, Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting and Art (music), among which the professional degree of MBA includes two parts: MBA and EMBA.
